Traumatic Brain Injuries – most underdiagnosed & untreated MVA injury

According to the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, in 2010 an estimated 2 ˝ million people in the US sustained such an injury. Between 3.1 and 5.3 million were living with long-term or permanent disability.

Some findings are surprising. If you are female or Asian, you are less like to be given medication. In fact, most specialists do not have a good sense of what works.

Essential to note, is that almost any “concussion” may cause a mild TBI. That’s when you use a concussion questionnaire. He either the patient or in some cases better if the spouse complete will be you started on an accurate diagnosis.
